About Kasey Buckner

Kasey joined Granite Financial Group in 2000, coming from another well-known financial planning firm. Having experienced some of the ways other firms conduct business, Kasey sought out a firm that had a reputation of integrity. His desire to serve clients, and his philosophy of how to conduct business, mirrored exactly that of Granite Financial Group. He soon after become an owner/partner in the firm.
Kasey focuses on retirement issues and the specific needs of retirees, and those soon-to-be retired. Such issues involve continuity of income in retirement, estate and legal document planning, tax-advantaged investing, proper allocation of assets, continuity of health care in retirement, Medicare issues, and more. Kasey believes that a complete plan does not have to be a complex one. When developing a process for his clients Kasey believes that it should be simple to understand, bring security, and result in a satisfying lifestyle for the client.
Kasey received his Bachelor’s degree from Southwestern University. In addition to assisting clients with their financial plans he is very active in the legislative side of the insurance and financial industry. He regularly travels to the state and national capitals to discuss important issues with elected officials, and to lobby for financial, insurance, and retiree issues. He serves on the Board of the Fort Worth Association of Health Underwriters, a volunteer organization dedicated to improving the insurance industry for the consumer. Kasey has served as President, and is a Trustee of this association. **
